Welcome to Stuart R. Paddock School!
Thank you for your interest in Stuart R. Paddock School, home of the Panthers.
At Paddock, we educate nearly 500 kindergarten through fifth-grade students. Paddock is dedicated to student achievement in all academic areas and supporting students with their social-emotional development. We strive to develop and maintain open and collaborative relationships between staff, students, and parents in order to create a safe, positive, and nurturing school environment.
At Paddock, we look at the whole child and make sure that their education is comprehensive and aligned to every students’ needs. Paddock school utilizes Fountas and Pinnell Literacy Curriculum to provide students with a comprehensive, systematic approach to literacy instruction. Additionally, our researched based curriculums in math, science, and social studies ensure that our students are receiving engaging, meaningful content that is differentiated to their level. Through our social-emotional learning (SEL) lessons and system of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), students will focus on their emotional growth while learning how to make choices that are respectful, responsible, and safe.
When discussing student learning and progress, we make informed decisions using a data-based approach. Using information from a variety of sources such as Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing, classroom and skill-based assessments, and language proficiency levels, we are able to provide an educational experience focused on student growth and educational success.
Our parent community is extremely important at Paddock. We have a wonderful PTA that is committed to engaging the staff, students, and Paddock community through sponsoring fun, exciting social events and activities throughout the school year. I encourage you to consider becoming a member of the Paddock PTA.
Everyday, all of the Paddock staff strive to support our students to help them be the best Panther they can be. For more information, or to arrange a visit, please contact us at (847) 963-5800.
