Hello Paddock families and staff!
I hope you all are having a wonderful summer break and are getting ready to start a new school year full of learning, fun, and community. As your PTA president, I am thrilled to share with you some of the exciting activities and events that we have planned for the 2024-2025 school year.
What's in Store for This Year?
- Back to School Picnic: A great opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and celebrate the start of the school year.
- STEAM Fair: A showcase of various organizations and local businesses celebrating all things Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
- Classroom Parties: A chance to bring some festive spirit to the classrooms with games and crafts. The PTA provides the supplies and volunteers to help the teachers organize these parties.
- Fall and Spring Book Fairs: A wonderful way to promote a love of reading and support our school library.
- Donuts with Grownups: A special morning event where students can invite their parents, grandparents, or other grownups to join them for donuts.
- Holiday Shop: A fun and convenient way for students to shop for gifts for their family and friends.
- Family Reading Night: A cozy and relaxing evening where families can come to the school and listen to stories read by guest speakers.
- Teacher Appreciation Week: A week-long celebration of our amazing teachers and staff, who work hard every day to make our school a great place to learn and grow. The PTA organizes various treats to show our gratitude and admiration.
- ... And More!!: The PTA will be coordinating Dine and Shares, assemblies, and more throughout the school year!
How Can You Join the PTA?
As you can see, the PTA does a lot of wonderful things for our school, but we can't do it without your help. We need your
support and involvement to make these activities and events possible. Here are some of the benefits of becoming a PTA
member:
- You can stay informed and connected with what's happening at our school. You will receive weekly communications from the PTA, and you can attend the monthly PTA meetings, where you can hear from Mr. Christ and other teacher representatives about current topics related to our school.
- You can hear first hand about the upcoming events at the PTA meetings.
- You can make a difference in the lives of our students and staff by volunteering at PTA events.
The cost of joining the PTA for the entire school year is only $11.00 per family. Some of this money goes towards paying the state and national PTA dues, which give us access to valuable resources and advocacy. The rest of the money goes towards helping fund all the activities and events that we have mentioned above.
